THE ART OF COACHING

Managers, supervisors, and other key people are constantly challenged to support their teams in achieving more results with fewer resources, including people, and at a higher level of quality. This requires a new way of working with people that enhances the skills the manager already has, yet develops the additional expertise required to be competitive in today's global economy. That way is coaching.

Peggy O'Neal conducts an Academy of Coaching workshop exercise.Coaching involves operating in a new way with familiar issues, people and situations, allowing a manager to intervene naturally and effectively in even the toughest circumstances. A coach utilizes his or her own resources to work collaboratively with others to elicit long-term excellent performance that evolves to a self-generated, self-correcting level of effectiveness that consistently surpasses the average.

The Art of Coaching is a program introducing key principles and practices for powerful coaching: what it is, how to set it up, maintaining working relationships with clients and staff, how to coach and how to avoid pitfalls.

Who should participate

Executives, managers, supervisors, mentors, human resource professionals, team leaders and those in positions of leadership.
