1. Complete all written assignments from the Management Coaching Program and turn them in.2. Complete an interview with the faculty of The Academy of Coaching, demonstrating
your ability to communicate orally, to be self-generating and observant in conversations about coaching, and to apply coaching principles to different situations.
3. Demonstrate your ability to apply principles, knowledge and reasoning skills to coaching issues by completing and submitting a written evaluation in an "open book, take
home" format which will be due two weeks prior to the fourth weekend.
4. Coach at least five "clients" for a total period of at least 100 hours, fulfilling each of the following requirements:
(a) Enroll a minimum of five people in participating with you in a coaching relationship. Ensure that they are willing to be interviewed by The Academy of
Coaching about their experience of being coached by you. Let them know that they may be called by a representative of The Academy of Coaching and that their reports will be held in strict confidence.
(b) Devote at least 100 hours to Practice Coaching and maintain a log of your coaching time. Use the log form provided. Record, for each coaching session, the
date, client name, amount of time spent, and topic addressed. Do not include "on the spot" coaching in your 100 hours of Practice Coaching.
(c) Submit a written "case study report" for each client you coach, documenting the issue(s) you addressed, the approach(es) you used and the result(s) produced.
5. Expand your knowledge and expertise, and develop the ability to do so on an ongoing basis, by evaluating at least three potential coaching resources. Choose resources from
at least three of the following categories: books, movies, courses, events/activities, quotes, videos. As to each, write a brief summary which states:
(a) What resource did you choose?
(b) What was useful or valuable about this resource from the standpoint of providing effective coaching?
(c) Under what circumstances would this resource be useful? (How could you incorporate or apply this resource into your own coaching?)
